"Why Let Drink Decide" Kickz Cup 2010 Football Tournaments

Thousands of young people taking part in over 100 Kickz projects across the country will be pledging their support to the Government’s ongoing drive to reduce underage drinking as they compete for honours in the 2010 Kickz Cup.

The Kickz programme, backed by the Football Foundation, Premier League, Metropolitan Police and other police forces around the country, will initially raise awareness of the campaign via fifteen high profile regional tournaments. 14-18 year olds from cities across the country will pull on professional club strips and represent their local communities in a national competition, culminating in finals at Derby County’s Pride Park and Manchester United's Old Trafford.
